FR. EBUBE MUONSO MARKS EASTER, CLARIFIES POSITION ON ANAMBRA GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION

The Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Fr. Ebube Muonso, has wished all Adorers a Happy Easter celebration, praying that the resurrection of Jesus Christ will bring good tidings to them. In a recent statement, Fr. Ebube Muonso also clarified his position regarding the upcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election. He emphasized that he remains impartial and will not endorse any candidate.


According to Fr. Ebube Muonso, "My duty as a priest is to speak out against injustice and corruption, and to cry out when things are not going right." He pointed to his efforts in addressing insecurity in the state, underscoring his commitment to the well-being of Anambra and its people.


Fr. Ebube Muonso urged the people of Anambra to exercise their democratic right to choose their next governor. "Let Anambrarians choose their governor," he said. "Whoever wins, I will continue to pray for them, as they are all my sons."


The revered priest reiterated his primary concern for the state's progress and the protection of lives. "I am not comfortable when a system is corrupt," he stated. "As a priest, I remain resolute in my fight against injustice and corruption."


Fr. Ebube Muonso concluded by advising the public to continue praying for the state, emphasizing that Anambra's fate is in God's hands. "All I want is the progress of the state and the protection of lives," he said. "Let us continue to pray for Anambra, for it is in God's hands." Furthermore, he charged the Federal Government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, praying for God to keep him safe.
